Dear Friends,

Volunteers needed for Wealth of Love


We, Leo Club of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Leo Club of Singapore Raffles City and our sponsoring Lions Club of Singapore Raffles City, are mainly involved in community services such as hosting festive celebrations, organizing visits to Old Folks & Children's Home of Singapore. Funds are also raised for the Homes through fund-raising projects.


This year, 2006, our Beneficiary is the Boys Town, an unique Catholic Institution dedicated to providing guidance, shelter, education, vocational training and practical living skills to youth. They have three dormitories housing 100 teenage boys. Home supervisors are on 24-hr duty to provide guidance; assistance and coordinate programmes and counseling needs are provided by their social workers.


Currently we are working on a fund-raising project, "Wealth of Love". This project is an islandwide street sale to raise fund for Boys Town Singapore through the sales of candies.


Date of event: 26 March 2006 (Sunday)

Time:

Shift A : 9.15am to 2.30pm

Shift B : 1.15pm to 6.30pm


Collection point: Youth Park (opposite Cineleisure Complex)

Sales location: Along Orchard Road/ Marina Square/ Bugis/ Suntec City

Volunteers are welcomed to take part in one or both shifts.


Note: Students who take part in 2 shifts will be awarded an additional point..

There will also be prizes for the top 3 collectors.


A recruitment drive for this event will be on 16th & 17th February 2006, Thursday & Friday at the Atrium. Do give us your support by signing up on the spot or email us right now.
