Hello,
Hope everyone from Ngee Ann is enjoying this wonderful marvelous holiday period. From the start of this semester, we have gone through a lot of events (weekly and monthly) which would definitely make our bounding tighter and stronger. We, the NPBS committee, are trying to keep this CCA fills with nourishment in both experiment and fun.
Here is the insight of our event after the half semester break.

Sanctuary Expedition
This event is very similar to “Amazing Race” which our NPBS family together goes around the Buddhist temple around Singapore. In fact, we combine the fun we have from “Amazing Race” with the experience we gain by visiting the temples. We tried our best to familiarize the temples with the members and it was one of the best and successful events for us.
Here is the photos we have uploaded on facebook for this Sanctuary Expedition.

Dharma Day
On 18th of June, we celebrate the “Dharma Day” with our NPBS family.  Dhamma Day is a chance to express gratitude to the Buddha and other enlightened teachers. Many celebrate Dhamma Day by reading Buddhist scriptures and listening to sermons. We did have fun on that day with the games, Q&A sessions , and bhante talk.

NPBS Fresh Men Orientation Camp (Mind full or Mindful )
This is our first camp for our fresh members and it is a 2 night 3 day camp. During this camp, we got NP Loft as a place to stay. In NP campus, we played various fun game, wet games and activities. We climbed the Bukit Timah hills as a group and had fun on our way. The camp is enhanced by the Magic show by our friends “Entertainment Club” and the dhamma talk by our bhante. Just as the theme of the camp is “Mind full or Mindful” , we believe that we somehow manage to nourish the members mind with “Mindfulness”.
Special thanks to our Alumini and helpers.

This is the photo reflection of our camp.
